In addition to its real estate property investments, Icarus currently provides consulting services within Liberia. The Liberian government and businesses have actively sought our expertise to expand economic opportunities and improve economic development toward Liberia's goal of becoming a middle-income country by 2030. Within the next 10 years, Icarus is poised to vastly accelerate private agricultural investments in Liberia.
Currently, Icarus has over 2,500 acres of unencumbered Liberian farmland under management in Margibi County along with 3,000 acres committed by other farmers and landowners for an Icarus-managed agricultural cooperative. Moreover, Icarus is engaged in strategic planning for another 4,000+ acres in Cape Mount, Liberia. Ironically, while the country is significantly fertile, Liberia is food insecure and heavily dependent on natural resources and harvests from abroad to feed its population of 4 million.
